Bogarin trail is rainforest that was re-started and developed from swamp land in 2000 when the Bogarin family decided to preserve a piece of land for the wildlife around La Fortuna. The trails are 1.5 miles long and flat so they are easily accessible to anyone. My husbans and I were fortunate to have William Bogarin as our nature guide.It was only our second day in Costa Rica so Bogarin Trail was a great introduction to the nature and wildlife in this country. Eduardo was extremely knowledgeable, has an amazing eye for animals, and served us fresh pineapple at the end and seemed genuinely interested in chatting and getting to know us better.This was the ONE animal we just HAD to see on our visit to Costa Rica!!
