Depends on what weapon it is. Seasonal weapons (the 6 you see at the helm), Root of nightmares weapons, and Neomuna weapons all have methods of guaranteed red borders. Dares as well if you do legend. I run all 3 characters, I got 4 red border weapons this week but only one as the weapon I want. Obviously running 3 characters a week would give better chances than just farming spoils.
